Flu Clinic Announcement
Change in our Services
Lake Sunapee VNA is no longer providing public flu clinics as it has done in a variety of community locations in the past. We will continue to provide flu shots for our patients, the residents at some of our partner facilities, and for our staff and volunteers.
Reason for Change
We are proud to have been a provider of flu shots to so many people over the years. As a non-profit organization, however, part of our mission is to identify the most pressing community health needs and deploy our resources to the best of our ability to meet those needs. It has become clear that our nurses must be available to deliver other vital services that are in greater demand, such as foot care and our in-home services. Flu shots are more accessible than they used to be, and with staffing being a challenge, it makes sense to focus our resources in a different way. While we know this may be disappointing, we appreciate your understanding as we assess changing needs and the impact that Lake Sunapee VNA can have on the health of our region.
