Jim Culhane, President & CEO
Jim holds a Master of Business Administration from the University of New Hampshire and a Master of Social Work from the University of North Carolina and has more than 19 years of relevant health and home care experience. He has held leadership positions at HealthSouth Rehabilitation Hospital, Concord Regional VNA and the Visiting Nurse Association of Manchester and Southern NH.
Monique Malanga, Chief Financial Officer
Monique earned her BS in Business Management from Southern New Hampshire University and has 20 years of professional experience in the healthcare industry, including a position in the Finance Department of New London Hospital before joining the Lake Sunapee Region VNA & Hospice team in 2002 where she serves as Chief Financial Officer. She also oversees building and property issues, as well as contracts with vendors including the agency’s information technology equipment and support.
Diane Brace, MSN, RN, Director of Hospice & Palliative Care
A native of New Hampshire, Diane has more than 25 years of nursing experience with hospitals in the southern part of the state. She has worked in varied specialties from acute care (including med surg, cardiac telemetry, intensive care and the post anesthesia care unit) to an outpatient interventional pain center and other outpatient procedural clinics, such as endoscopy and urology. After obtaining her Masters of Science in Nursing from Walden University in 2011, her career transitioned to nursing management, where she worked as nursing director of assisted living and long term care facilities and then as director of clinical services for a hospice company. She is passionate about patient care in general, but especially end-of-life care, which involves the unique opportunity to treat not only patients, but their families as well.
Michelle Brown, Director of Community Health Services
Michelle has vast experience with more than 20 years in the health care arena that includes 17 years working in private duty, start-ups and as a Regional Vice President for a national company. She joined the LSRVNA team in February of 2016 to direct the delivery of non-medical services that help clients remain safely and independently in their homes. This includes private duty services, homemaking grants and our adult day programs.
Caitlin Harmon, RN, BSN, Quality Assurance Manager
Caitlin’s nursing career began in home health care after earning her bachelor’s degree from the University of New Hampshire. Since joining LSRVNA in 2010, she has held several positions including RN Case Manager for both Home Health Care and Hospice clients and preceptor for new clinical field staff. Caitlin oversees quality, documentation review, coding, staff development and compliance.
Mary Lambert, Human Resources Director
Mary earned a bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Colby-Sawyer College and in Business Administration from Granite State College. She also holds a master’s degree in Business Management and Human Resources from Franklin Pierce University. Mary has had positions in diverse functions of human resources including employee relations, recruitment, training, staff development, payroll and compensation. She also oversees policy development and adherence to state and federal regulations.
Joyce Neilsen, RN, BSN, Director of Home Care
Joyce is a native of New Hampshire and has lived in the Lake Sunapee area for most of her life. She has been with LSRVNA since 2013. In her role as Director of Home Care, she is dedicated to the continued growth and development of the Home Care program and team to ensure that those in need are receiving individualized, skilled and timely care. Joyce earned her Associates in Nursing from Santa Fe Community College in Florida and her BSN from Western Governors University in Utah. She has over 20 years of experience as a Registered Nurse in settings including medical/surgical, emergency room, ambulatory, home health care and maternal/child health.
Jeana Newbern, Marketing & Community Outreach Manager
Jeana has enjoyed working in the health care field for more than 30 years in the areas of public relations, marketing and management. She holds a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from the University of New Hampshire and has worked at Brigham & Women’s Hospital, New London Hospital and as the office and marketing manager at a medical billing company. She joined LSRVNA in 2016 and works closely with staff and community partners to promote LSRVNA services and community health initiatives.
Melinda Palmer, LPN, Business Office Manager
Melinda received her bachelor’s degree in Healthcare Management with a minor in Information Technology from Granite State College and is currently pursuing a master’s degree in Leadership. She has held various roles during her 16 years with LSRVNA and currently oversees the Business Office, supervising the billing associates.
Catherine Raymond, Development Officer
Cathy received her BA from Susquehanna University and has more than 30 years of experience in non-profit fund raising, marketing and community engagement. She has held positions at educational and health care organizations including Dartmouth College, The Spence School (NYC), New England College, New London Hospital and Catholic Medical Center. Cathy joined the LSRVNA team in 2004 and oversees philanthropy, donor relations and community benefits.
