Jim Culhane, President & CEO
Jim holds a Master of Business Administration from the University of New Hampshire and a Master of Social Work from the University of North Carolina and has more than 19 years of relevant health and home care experience. He has held leadership positions at HealthSouth Rehabilitation Hospital, Concord Regional VNA and the Visiting Nurse Association of Manchester and Southern NH.
Monique Malanga, Chief Financial Officer
Monique earned her BS in Business Management from Southern New Hampshire University and has 20 years of professional experience in the healthcare industry, including a position in the Finance Department of New London Hospital before joining the Lake Sunapee Region VNA & Hospice team in 2002 where she serves as Chief Financial Officer. She also oversees building and property issues, as well as contracts with vendors including the agency’s information technology equipment and support.
April Bartley, RN, BS, CHPN, Director of Hospice and Palliative Care
April received her nursing degree from River Valley College and holds specialty nursing certifications in Hospice and Palliative Care. She joined our team in 2013 as Hospice Program Director, having worked in home health care in New Hampshire and Vermont for more than a decade. In 2016, she also assumed responsibility for the Palliative Care Program at LSRVNA. April is a life long resident of New Hampshire and lives in Unity, where she owns a small farm with her husband.
Michelle Brown, Director of Community Health Services
Michelle has vast experience with more than 20 years in the health care arena that includes 17 years working in private duty, start-ups and as a Regional Vice President for a national company. She joined the LSRVNA team in February of 2016 to direct the delivery of non-medical services that help clients remain safely and independently in their homes. This includes private duty services, homemaking grants and our adult day programs.
Troy Culp, IT Manager
Troy joined LSRVNA in 2016 with 30 years of experience in the Information Technology field, including five years in Health Information Services and many years acting as the network and/or server administrator for numerous organizations. Prior to starting with LSRVNA, he was the Senior Technician for a Managed Service Provider that provided support for organizations based along the eastern seaboard from Georgia to Maine. Troy also spent four years in the California Air National Guard, where he was trained to maintain the guidance systems for “smart” bombs and also worked as an aircraft electrician.
Caitlin Harmon, RN, BSN, Quality and Staff Development
Caitlin’s nursing career began in home health care after earning her bachelor’s degree from the University of New Hampshire. Since joining LSRVNA in 2010, she has held several positions including RN Case Manager for both Home Health Care and Hospice clients and preceptor for new clinical field staff. Caitlin oversees quality, documentation review, coding, staff development and compliance.
Mary Lambert, Human Resources Manager
Mary earned a bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Colby-Sawyer College and in Business Administration from Granite State College. She also holds a master’s degree in Business Management and Human Resources from Franklin Pierce University. Mary has had positions in diverse functions of human resources including employee relations, recruitment, training, staff development, payroll and compensation. She also oversees policy development and adherence to state and federal regulations.
Joyce Neilsen, RN, BSN, Director of Home Care
Joyce is a native of New Hampshire and has lived in the Lake Sunapee area for most of her life. She has been with LSRVNA since 2013. In her role as Director of Home Care, she is dedicated to the continued growth and development of the Home Care program and team to ensure that those in need in the community are receiving individualized, skilled and timely care. Joyce earned her Associates in Nursing from Santa Fe Community College in Florida and her BSN from Western Governors University in Utah. She has over 20 years of experience as a Registered Nurse with a background in settings including medical/surgical, emergency room, ambulatory, home health care and maternal/child health.
Melinda Palmer, LPN, Business Office Manager
Melinda received her bachelor’s degree in Healthcare Management with a minor in Information Technology from Granite State College and is currently pursuing a master’s degree in Leadership. She has held various roles during her 16 years with LSRVNA and currently oversees the Business Office, supervising the billing associates.
Kyle Ranney, Outreach Liaison
Kyle earned a degree in Business Management and Marketing from the University of Phoenix and is currently pursuing his master's degree in Health Care Administration. He has held upper level leadership positions with a number of organizations, including the Community Liaison for Valley Regional Hospital, and brings 15 years of marketing and management experience to our team. Kyle works closely with key community partners and providers to keep them informed about LSRVNA services and ensure that area residents have access to needed home health care services.
Catherine Raymond, Development Officer
Cathy received her BA from Susquehanna University and has more than 30 years of experience in non-profit fund raising and community engagement. Her background in education and health care includes positions at Dartmouth College, The Spence School (NYC), New England College, New London Hospital and Catholic Medical Center. Cathy joined the LSRVNA team in 2004, overseeing marketing, community outreach, philanthropy and community benefits.
