Bereavement Support Groups

Loss is an inevitable occurrence in life. Grief is the natural way we cope with loss.

Grief is often misunderstood perhaps because none of us experience grief exactly the same away. At Lake Sunapee Region VNA & Hospice, we believe that there is not a right or wrong way to cope with a loss. We also believe that grief is not a problem but rather a process. People do not “get over” grief, they “get through” it.

Facilitated by trained staff and volunteers, Lake Sunapee Region VNA & Hospice offers three virtual bereavement support groups to the community at no cost. Bereavement support can help to gain understanding and also the strength to adjust to life’s new normal.
