New London Oddfellows open their hearts again
Heidelberg Lodge IOOF #92 (a.k.a. Oddfellows) of New London continued its long-standing support of Lake Sunapee Region VNA & Hospice by presenting its annual donation, which was gratefully accepted by Jim Culhane, President and CEO, on January 12. The Lodge supports local needs with the significant funds raised at its annual Christmas Auction, a 22-year tradition.
Heidelberg Lodge hails from the fact that before it was incorporated as New London, the town was originally called Heidelberg. Oddfellows have followed the guiding principles of friendship, love and truth in their service to the community and people in need. With approximately 10,000 Oddfellows Lodges in 26 countries, the New London Lodge, founded in 1895, is proud to be among them!
