Bereavement Support During the Holidays
In addition to its ongoing bereavement support groups, Lake Sunapee Region VNA & Hospice has planned two special programs for the holidays. One is a two-part informational and learning program on how to handle the holidays after a loss. The other is the annual “Time of Remembrance” celebration to remember and honor the lives of loved ones who have died.
“Healing for the Holidays: How to Handle the Holidays After a Loss” involves two sessions to learn how to proactively manage the holidays after losing a loved one. Individuals can attend the program at the Lebanon Public Library at 9 East Park Street on October 24 and 31 from 5:30 to 7:00 p.m. or at LSRVNA in New London on November 3 and 10 from 5:30 to 7:00 p.m.
“Time of Remembrance” is an annual event to celebrate the lives of individuals in the LSRVNA Hospice program and community who have died over the past year. This special ceremony will be held on November 8 at 6:00 p.m. in Foulkes Hall at Kearsarge Community Presbyterian Church in New London and will include readings, music and refreshments.
