Baker Hill Golf Club Gives Back... Like a Pro!
This past summer, Baker Hill Golf Club in Newbury held its first “Pro-Am Series & Charity Event.” Foursomes comprised of three Club members and one professional played in a Best Ball Gross & Net format. Each member contributed $50.00 for the special opportunity to “play with a pro” while supporting vital home care services for our local community. Sincere thanks to Pros Brad Heninger, Mark Peters, Jeremy Quelch and Ed Deshaies, without whom the series wouldn’t have been possible.

“In this first year of our charity event, we chose Lake Sunapee Region VNA & Hospice (LSRVNA) as the beneficiary because of its exceptional care, care that enhances the lives of so many, but may not always be recognized,” said Mark Ashton, General Manager of Baker Hill.
“Generosity such as Baker Hill has shared helps to raise awareness, as well as much-needed funding to sustain the many programs that are integral to our not-for-profit mission,” said Jim Culhane, LSRVNA President and CEO. “We are deeply grateful to have been selected as the 2018 recipient of the event’s proceeds, especially knowing how many other area organizations are doing important work as well.”
Lake Sunapee Region VNA & Hospice was founded in 1970 and provides skilled medical care, personal care services and hospice in the home setting, as well as a robust menu of community-based health and wellness programs in more than 29 towns spanning Grafton, Merrimack and Sullivan counties. On any given day, there are approximately 600 patients on service with the agency. For more information, call 603-526-4077 or visit www.lakesunapeevna.org.
