New London Service Organization Brings Holiday Joy…Again!
The New London Service Organization (NLSO) has once again made a wonderful donation of $1,000 to Lake Sunapee Region VNA & Hospice (LSRVNA) in support of the “Kearsarge Kids Christmas Program Elf Fund.” The program, a collaboration between many community partners that began nearly 20 years ago, helps local families in need of a little extra support during the holidays by providing holiday gifts and gift cards. “This generous contribution will bring joy to families, especially the children, again this year,” said Cathy Raymond, LSRVNA Development Officer.
New London Service Organization was founded in 1944, originally to provide support to local residents returning home from military service. Over the years, it has helped individuals and organizations, in New London and Elkins, in countless ways. Its tradition of giving back lives on in action today as it did more than 70 years ago. “We are delighted to support this program to benefit children in need in our community,” shared Ben Barton, NLSO Director.
